BRFC Samosas build winning season and capture the D4 Champion’s Cup!

Boston RFC’s entry into Division 4 team this past Fall can best be described as a pack of nasty, dedicated and cohesive bunch of young and old ruggers, all with a common cause: being victorious and keeping their eye on the try line. After building a winning season, the pack of hungry wolves travelled up to Bennington Vermont to vie for the coveted NERFU D4 Champions Cup. The result was resounding, with Boston defeating previously undefeated Monadnock RFC (9-0 regular season) in a true nail biter of a Final, 14-11. Our hats go off to the Champs; they did us proud this Fall, and they left it all on the field match after match….well maybe they saved a bit for the bar, but that’s well deserved too. Congratulations to everyone who contributed to such a successful season, filled with long road trips and bruised bodies. Leading try scorer: Lucas Pialat. Leading conversion points: Darragh Kennedy. Great job guys!
